1d) slide bolt B

A small, face mounted slide bolt with a  more worked feel to it than "slide bolt A".

Due to the traditional way in which these door bolts are made  it is necessary to drill shallow holes in the surface of the door in order to achieve a flush fitting; the resultant "craters" are of course not seen as they are under the backplates.

Backplate;                       90 mm x 60 mm

Keep / receiver;              20 mm x 60 mm.

Protrudes from door;                     50 mm.
