As an alternative to the use of  brightly coloured pozidrive and zinc plated fixings, I have drawn up a small range of fixings which maintain the handmade feel of the hooks.

The traditional dome head screws, for the smaller sizes of hook, are distressed and hot waxed machine made screws.

The coach screws are, similarly, machine made coach screws, but. with forged heads, either to a facetted square or hexagon as can be seen in the picture.

The nails are forged from scratch
