Established in 1989, we are a small firm of blacksmiths and ironworkers, undertaking a wide range of mainly commissioned, and mainly forged, work, a selection of which is illustrated in the 'commissions' section of this site.

We now offer a variety of pieces for sale in the blacksmiths shop;  these are either stock items or pieces that can be ordered to the designs and specifications shown.

In the blacksmiths shop there are a variety of hand forged and hand made pieces ; these include a number of designs of  hand forged door furniture, as well as a large sawdust burner and a  range of unique steel tin dispensers for the kitchen or larder; our intention is to expand this collection of repeatable pieces as regularly as possible.

The most densely populated part of the shop houses 'Capton Hooks  hand forged hooks '. The hand forged iron hooks in this collection are of a traditional character and come in a variety of sizes,  from small hand forged iron hooks, such as would find their place on welsh dressers and farmhouse kitchen beams and be suited to hanging teatowels, cups, etc, through medium sized hand forged hooks for those slightly larger items around the house, right up to some monster sized hooks for hanging the largest of objects - or maybe just for the strong statement of a very chunky piece of hand forged iron. There are also hand made coat hooks.

All of the  ironmongery presented in these pages is forged here in sunny, rainy south Devon in the age old traditional way. The material used is mild steel;  special orders can often be accommodated in wrought iron, stainless steel or bronze as commissions.
